It seems difficult for it to happen, but a passenger who left on a Gol de Campinas flight, in the interior of São Paulo, bound for Fortaleza, in Ceará, was stung by a scorpion inside the plane. The incident occurred last Saturday (9) on flight G3 9185.
Through a note sent to UOL, the airline reported that the passenger was indeed stung during the flight and that he received first aid from a medical team at the airport in the capital of Ceará.
Gol stressed that despite the unusual case, the company follows the hygiene standards of its airplanes and that it took the opportunity to “reinforce pest control on airplanes and that it has strict cleaning and disinfection procedures for its airplanes.
The company also said that it provided the necessary support to the passenger, who did not show deterioration in his health and has already been released.
