The four accused of kidnapping the 30-year-old doctor Tamires Gemelli were sent to Erechim, in Rio Grande do Sul on Thursday night.
The criminals approached her the moment she left a health post where she worked in the city of Erechim.
Tamires was transferred by car to the cities of Itá, Chapecó, and Santa Catarina until reaching Cantagalo, where she was kept in captivity.
One of the prisoners is a security guard from a bank in Laranjeiras do Sul, who was traveling claiming a medical certificate. A woman, a housewife, was also arrested. The third prisoner is a taxi driver who made the movements of the victim and another woman was detained this afternoon. All are residents of Laranjeiras do Sul.
The defendant requested R $ 2 million in ransom, but the amount was not paid, thanks to the intelligence work of the three states of the Southern Region.
They were transferred to the headquarters of the Commissariat for the Suppression of Organized Crime and, after being heard, will be incarcerated in the Erechim Prison.
Tomorrow the Civil Police must grant a new press conference to detail the investigations.
