The organization of the public tender of the Civil Police of Paraná suspended the test of the process, scheduled for this Sunday (21). The selection process foresees the hiring of delegates, researchers and papilloscopists.

The postponement was posted at 5:42 a.m. Sunday.

According to the document, the organization affirmed that during “the last control carried out at dawn” it was found that there were no essential security conditions for the test to be carried out in all places in Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region.

In the midst of the new coronavirus pandemic, according to the text, such conditions could “jeopardize the integrity of the evaluations and the isonomic treatment of candidates.”

According to the organization, the event would be held in 350 locations in Curitiba and 19 in other cities in the state.

The new date for the test was not disclosed.

Postponement due to pandemic

The 400-seat tender was also postponed in June due to the new coronavirus pandemic. At that time, the tests were scheduled to take place on July 26.

The new dates were set after the State Department of Health approved a biosafety plan prepared by the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

What the Civil Police say

By note, the Civil Police stated that it was surprised by the announcement and that it sent a letter to the Bidding Center of the Federal University of Paraná, responsible for the tender, requesting justifications for the suspension.
