The city of Salvador announced on Thursday (7) that the center, Boca do Río and Plataforma will have blockades in Salvador starting this Saturday (9).
Initially, the locks will last seven days. According to Mayor ACM Neto, the measures cannot be called a blockade, since the most extreme action implies total and mandatory isolation, but they seek to slow the progress of the new coronavirus pandemic in the capital of Bahia.

Full lock is not ruled out
