Next Monday, October 5, the 2020 National Multivaccination Campaign begins. The action of the Ministry of Health runs until October 30. The goal is to vaccinate children from one year to adolescents under 15 years of age to update their vaccination records.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Blumenau City Council adapted the logistics of the action. During the week, in the morning, the Family Health Strategy (FHS) units will attend appointments made by phone or in the unit itself, depending on the area covered.

In the afternoon, the service will be assigned to appointments through the Pronto Mobile application or through the City Council website. The ESF vaccination rooms will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Already the General Outpatient (GAs), throughout the day, will attend online appointments.

It is important to always be attentive to the vaccination booklet, and have it handy when looking for the health unit. The intention of the Ministry of Health is to provide access to the vaccines offered by the National Immunization Program (PNI) – update the vaccination situation and improve vaccination coverage; decrease the incidence of preventable diseases; contribute to the control, elimination and / or eradication of vaccine-preventable diseases.
