247 – While current Health Minister Nelson Teich uses a vague speech to talk about the pandemic, former Health Minister Luiz Henrique Mandetta (DEM) said on Thursday (30) that Brazil’s health system is already in collapse as a result.

“It was always a prediction that I had hoped not to fulfill, that I worked to avoid, but unfortunately we are living,” Mandetta said on her Twitter page.

Mandetta was fired by Jair Bolsonaro during the confrontation against Covid-19, on April 16. He and the CEO disagreed with measures to fight and prevent infection. Bolsonaro defends the end of isolation and minimizes the impacts of the deaths, saying that only the elderly will be affected.

Balance of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (29), there are already 5,466 deaths and 78,162 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 449 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
