The Secretary of State for Management and Human Resources, Lenise Loureiro, detailed the government’s plans. According to her, the new moderate risk configuration maintains a good part of the mild risk rules, and mainly alters activities that have presented less control in the spread of the new coronavirus.

“We are building a new moderate risk, which brings operating conditions for some activities, such as green risk. Shopping centers and shops have free days and hours, provided that the capacity, hygiene and mask protocols are complied with. Permanent mask was more secure. The measures were modified for the segments that do not use a mask as a permanent behavior, ”he said.

LIMIT OF PARTICIPANTS IN CORPORATE EVENTS

In addition to the restriction of regular classes and hours of bars and restaurants, the third is the affected segment of corporate events. Until then, there was a limit of 300 participants for social events, such as weddings, but there was no restriction on conferences and science fairs, for example.

Starting Monday, these corporate events will also be limited to 300 participants in a minimum area of 1,500 m², that is, it will be necessary to provide at least 5 m² per guest.

Compared to other sectors of the economy, they will not undergo any change from what low-risk cities currently practice. However, the government does not rule out intensifying measures if the pandemic situation in the municipalities continues to deteriorate.

“We are going to do this weekly measurement. We are taking a step in the restrictions and we may need to take other steps. The monitoring will be daily, with possibly weekly changes,” the secretary said.
