OR trade of Belo Horizonte have the hours of operation extended by two hours, even with the new pandemic coronavrus present. The measure was announced by the mayor of the mining capital, Alexandre Kalil (PSD).
Until then, on weekdays, street shops were open from 10 am to 7 pm. The new schedule will be valid indefinitely and will take effect from this Saturday.
“We go every day. Because after Christmas, I don’t know what, exchange gifts, we know, we have family. We know how that. The guy gives you a horrible plaid shirt and he has to go back to the store to change. Everyone is the same, thinks the same … this is what we have to do, and tighten the inspection this end of the year like never before (…) We will leave everything as it is, until we have to call the staff again to letting them know that will close everything, ”Kalil completed.
According to data released this Friday by the Ministry of Health of Minas Gerais, BH has already registered 57,016 cases of COVID-19. Of those people, 1,771 died from the virus.
