Less than a thousand experts returned to work
In total, the INSS has 3,500 experts, but not all agencies are free to return these professionals.
Wanted by G1, the Special Secretariat for Social Security and Labor reported that 304 agencies are already qualified for face-to-face service and that 910 out of a total of 1,137 experts summoned attended their posts on October 5.
“This figure will increase according to the inspections that are carried out,” the government reported, citing the inspections that are being carried out to check the adequacy and security of the offices. “Today, the average waiting time for medical experience is 12 days“he added.
The expertise is nothing more than a medical evaluation to prove the incapacity for work, temporary or permanent, derived from an illness or accident, which entitles you to the benefit for sickness, accident or disability retirement.
In this sense, on the day of the recognition, updated medical documents and exams that prove incapacity for work must be brought, such as:
- Personal documents (RG, CPF and work card);
- Duly completed medical certificate of the disabling disease;
- Clinical and laboratory examinations related to the disabling disease;
- Occupational health certificate issued by the occupational doctor;
- Letter from the employing company confirming the last day worked
- Prescriptions;
- Treatment test.
For insured persons who cannot travel, the orientation is for the legal representative of the expert to appear at the selected service unit, on the date and time set, with the documentation proving the need to carry out the home or hospital examination.
