According to Flordelis, Simone was ill and was harassed by Anderson:

I do not defend her, because I do not agree with what she did. I disagree 100%. She couldn’t have done that, it’s not by killing that we solve the problems, ”he said.

Simone is one of the accused daughters, along with Flávio, Lucas, Marzy, Adriano, André and Carlos, as well as her granddaughter Rayane. All were detained, except Flordelis, who has parliamentary immunity and is responding to a process in the Ethics Council of the Chamber of Deputies, where he could lose his mandate.
