Wesley’s statement came as elected officials took turns at the plenary microphone. Later, Duda even protested the issue. In an interview, he criticized the attitude of the colleague.

“I came here to discuss politics, employment, income, housing and health projects for Belo Horizonte. Transficent episodes, like what happened here, we solve them outside the Chamber, going to the police station and denouncing that he be arrested, if it is configured, in fact, as a transphobia “, he said.

The pediatrician stated that if the colleague repeats such attitudes, he should call the police. “I usually give everyone a second chance. If he repeats this – as I am a teacher, in a pedagogical and educational way – I understand that I will have to go to the police station to fulfill my role as a citizen, so that he is responsible for the consequences, “he added.

Cited by Wesley Autoescola, Professor Marli ranked third overall, with 14,496 votes, below Nikolas Ferreira (PRTB).

Doubt speaks of representativeness

During his first speech as a councilor, Duda praised the representativeness he carries with him. He celebrated the presence of a transsexual in the legislative power of Belo Horizonte.

Wesley Autoescola, for his part, delivered a speech celebrating the fact that Cmara did not approve, in the four years that have passed, projects described by him as “ideological”.
