The governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), launched, this Wednesday (10/28), the health plan for public servants, the GDF-Saúde. The earnings release was anticipated by the post office. The initiative is part of the anticipated celebrations for Server Day, celebrated this Wednesday (10/28). The optional item was postponed to Friday (10/30).

“This health plan is born big and comes to serve a population that needs it,” said Ibaneis. The head of the local Executive also said that it will be necessary to save money, but that the measure is necessary. “We will leave SUS to those who really need it. I am very happy with the implementation of this plan, ”added the governor.

“The public servant needs to be remembered and valued”, considered the Secretary of Economy, André Clemente, who was also present at the event.

The health plan will cover the entire DF and will operate in the form of outpatient and hospital care with obstetrics. In the new model, a monthly fee of 4% will be charged on the gross remuneration of users and 1% for each dependent: children under 21 years of age, university students up to 24, disabled children and spouses.

There will continue to be a 30% share in outpatient procedures and 5% in hospital procedures. These must also be discounted on the sheet.

Membership will not be mandatory, that is, it is up to the server to decide whether or not they want the benefit. In the case of commissioners, the plan will be valid for up to three months after termination.

Active civil servants, retirees, pensioners, commissioned and temporarily hired officials may participate. The only public servants who cannot benefit are pensioners linked to the Department of Roads and Highways (DER).

Accreditation

The benefit will be available from November 3 to employees of the Health Department; December 1 for the Ministry of Education and January 4, 2021 for other agencies and agreements. Those interested can join through the website of the DF Server Healthcare Institute (Inas-DF).

The accreditation of the provider network can be done on the Inas-DF website as of this Wednesday. The process will be carried out electronically until the signing of the service provision contract.

Costing

The GDF’s monthly contribution to the plan will be at least 1.5% of the payroll of government employees.

In addition to user contributions, the agreement will include donations, bequests, grants, income from financial investments, interest and fines.

Other benefits

In addition to health benefits, the plan has a discount club in which accredited companies will have discounts for employees. Universities will also offer tuition discounts to government employees.

“These launches will be announced in the coming weeks,” explained Ibaneis.

Studies to implement the plan began in 2019 and culminated in the signing, in July of this year, of a technical cooperation agreement between the Inas, the Ministry of Economy and the Regional Bank of Brasilia (BRB), which will provide technological environments for members. , accreditation and service.
