The purchases of these products were made by states and municipalities, but the ministry decided to centralize the acquisition to meet the increased demand in the pandemic. “It is worth mentioning that the portfolio seeks to offer the Brazilian population a vaccine as soon as possible, without neglecting safety and efficacy, which will be guaranteed with the approval of Anvisa,” said the note.
