Fortaleza confirms the departure of Rogério Ceni, who should go to Flamengo

End of the line for Rogerio Ceni No Strength. After receiving the proposal from Flamengo, the coach met with the Tricolor board of directors and agreed to leave the club.

Ceni’s last match in the Pici Tricolor was last weekend, when Atlético won 2 to 1. In addition to Rogério, the assistants, Charles Hembert and Nelson Simões, and the physical trainer also left Fortaleza. Danilo Augusto, also leaves Tricolor.

Rogério Ceni won the Brazilian Series B Championship in 2018, the Northeast Cup in 2019 and the Ceará Championship in 2019 and 2020 for Fortaleza. The club played in the Copa Sudamericana this season.

Now, Ceni in Flamengo is expected to replace Domènec Torrent, who was fired on Monday. Rubro-Negro will spend around R $ 1 million to pay Ceni’s fine.
