RIO – According to the bulletin published by State Secretary of Health This Thursday (06), Rio had a new record of confirmed cases and deaths within 24 hours.
They registered 189 deaths. It is the first time that more than 100 deaths have been recorded in the state. The previous record was this Wednesday, when 82 deaths were recorded.

In total, the state has accumulated 1,394 deaths and 14,156 cases since the start of the pandemic. There are still 570 deaths under investigation.
The sad record was also reached in the capital, which remains the epicenter of the state’s pandemic. In the city of Rio, 155 coronavirus deaths were confirmed in the last 24 hours, three times more than the previous peak, which was 51 deaths. In total, the capital has already registered 9,051 infected people and 919 deaths.
