In the early hours of Saturday (17), a fire reached a vehicle belonging to the Jeep automotive pole, in Goiana, Pernambuco. The fire destroyed more than 100 vehicles at the site.
In video broadcast on social networks, it is possible to identify stork trucks with burning cars. The Fire Department said no one was injured.
The Fire Department also reported that it was summoned around 3:45 am to control a fire in vehicles of the SADA Transportes company. Two hours later, the fire was stopped.
“The fire spread rapidly and caused great material damage. SADA Transportes operational teams are conducting the surveys, ”said the company, in a note sent to UOL.
Sada Transportes reported that it identified eight stork trucks loaded with 74 cars prepared for transport. The fire also struck a shed where 26 buses were burned, resulting in the loss of 108 vehicles.
“Grupo SADA reiterates its commitment to the safety of all employees and driving partners. We highlight our efforts for the immediate regularization of operations, as well as we remain entirely at your disposal for further clarification ”, the note informs.
In a note, the Civil Police reported that they are investigating the case and that the investigation will continue “until the complete clarification of what happened.”
