Former BBB Victor Hugo used social media to speak for the first time after trying and not being able to travel by plane on the same day he was discharged from the hospital after being diagnosed with covid-19. The psychologist entered the ICU of a hospital in Maceió and tried to embark for Imperatriz (MA), but was prevented from doing so.
According to Victor Hugo, the doctors informed him that he no longer had the disease and received the recommendation to return home. The former BBB says it has been made available to the airline since it arrived at Maceió airport. According to him, the company embarrassed him on the spot.
“I was guided by the medical team that welcomed me in the last few days that I no longer had any symptoms of covid, I was healing and that is why they released me. They told me I should go home, rest, ”he wrote.
“My flight was scheduled for the night and, as I was still not in a good mood, especially pain in my legs from the number of days I was hospitalized and from the ICU itself, I was afraid of the trip,” he added.
The former BBB said it tried to contact the airport before, but was unsuccessful. So he decided to reschedule the ticket personally. “My boarding was authorized. I received my ticket, I normally went through all the airport security protocols (…). At all times I did not cough and used a mask and alcohol gel continuously,” he said.
“I realized that there were people who were uncomfortable with my presence and shortly afterwards an agent asked me to accompany him to the box office again. They asked me to present documents to be able to travel. I was not aware of the need for such documents and, even then, at no point did the airline ask me for any documents, “he said.
“I was very ashamed of the way the company was run by making myself available (…) My concern is 100% for my health and that of my family, which is why I have been in isolation since Friday in a hotel in Maceió. . Where I will stay until a date not yet determined, “added the former BBB.
Azul Linhas Aéreas informed the Twitter who respected Anvisa’s recommendations and reprogrammed Victor Hugo’s step. The company also denied that the former BBB was embarrassed. Azul clarifies that he prevented the boarding of one of his clients in Maceió after verifying that his medical documents indicated a positive report for covid-19. The company clarifies that, following Anvisa’s recommendations, it asked the client to remain in quarantine for 14 days and reschedule his ticket at no additional cost. “

The patient Víctor Hugo Teixeira was admitted on Saturday (19) to the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas, managed by the State Department of Health (Sesau), with suspicion of covid-19. In the unit, Victor Hugo performed the RT-PCR test, with a positive result for covid-19.
This Friday (25), the patient was discharged after a significant improvement in the clinical picture. The patient received medical recommendations to finish his treatment in isolation and return to his hometown.
