The general number of confirmed cases in the State reached 1,351, which represents 38 more cases in the last 24 hours. The number of deaths increased from 34 to 37 also on Wednesday (22). Of the total number of people diagnosed with the disease, 342 are cured. HOW TO PREVENT

So far there is no specific treatment for the disease, which is transmitted by drops of saliva that spread throughout the environment. Therefore, it is essential to maintain some personal hygiene precautions that are also valid to avoid the risk of contracting influenza and other respiratory diseases.

  • Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water;
  • Use an alcohol-based hand antiseptic for cleaning;
