Lira says that it cannot happen like last year, that the government had initially released an amount for quotas and shortly after increased the amount of aid to R $ 600.
According to the information, approximately 40 million people will benefit from the new payment cycle, which will consequently generate a debt of R $ 30 billion for the government.
New aid may be delayed
The approval of the Emergency PEC should be delayed a bit, because in the proposal there is a point that speaks of the disconnection of spending on health and education, which did not satisfy some senators. The PEC is being drafted by Senator Márcio Bittar.
While the PEC is the agenda for today’s plenary session, there is a strong possibility that they will only discuss the document itself, leaving the vote for next week.
