The approval of President Jair Bolsonaro worsened in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, according to the Datafolha poll conducted on November 9 and 10. The margin of error of three percentage points. The information is from Folha de S. Paulo.
In São Paulo, Bolsonaro saw his rejection rise from 48% to 50% and his government’s approval dropped from 25% to 23%. The president has his best rating among the elderly (30%) and his highest rejection among the young (66%).
One of the perceptions of this high rejection is the performance of his candidate in the city, Congressman Celso Russomanno (Republicans), who embittered a third place in the dispute. Among the candidate’s voters, 50% approve of Bolsonaro and 27% consider him bad or very bad.
In Rio de Janeiro, the approval of the president fell from 34% to 28%, while the rejection remained stable (42%). The candidate supported by Bolsonaro in the city, Marcelo Crivella (Republicans) has 14% in the electoral poll, with 66% of his voters supporting the president and only 9% disapproving.
