Dallagnol leaves the Car Wash to take care of the health of his 1-year-old daughter – Politics

Republic lawyer Deltan Dallagnol published a video this Tuesday (1/9) to explain the decision to leave the Operation Car Wash. According to the images, he leaves the investigation to dedicate himself to the treatment of the daughter who showed regression in her development. Deltan will continue as prosecutor, but no longer ahead of the Workgroup.

“A few weeks ago, my wife and I identified some signs that we were concerned about our little baby, one year and 10 months old,” he said. “We identified that she began to have a series of signs of regression in her development. For example, she stopped saying some words that she was already saying, stopped looking at us when we called and stopped looking into our eyes, ”she explained.

In a statement, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office stated that the dismissal was due to family health problems.

The prosecutor, however, faced attrition and became the target of internal actions at the agency, in addition to Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras and with former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Deltan was already waiting for lawsuits that might get him out of the car wash.
