With the 11% increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the last 14 days in Minas Gerais, four health regions in the state will regress to more restrictive phases of the Conscious Mines program. The announcement was made during the deliberation of the Extraordinary Covid-19 Committee, this Wednesday.
In addition to the worsening of the transmission rates of the coronavirus, the occupation of beds in some localities has also increased, according to the Secretary of State for Health, Dr. Carlos Eduardo Amaral.
What changes?
Northeast and East regions move to Red Wave from the program. In these regions, only essential services, such as supermarkets and pharmacies, can operate.
The East, South and Southeast regions return to Onda Amarela, which allows the opening of non-essential services with less risk of contagion, such as clothing stores and beauty stores.
The Vale do Ao region remains in Onda Amarela, while the other nine regions (Tringulo do Norte, Tringulo do Sul, Sul, Oeste, Centro, Noroeste, Norte, Jequitinhonha and Centro-Sul) are located in Onda Verde, a phase that allows the opening of non-essential services with a high risk of contagion, such as cinemas and bars with live music.
Second wave?
According to the Secretary of Health, despite the worsening of some indicators, there is no risk of a new wave of increased transmission of the virus throughout the state.
“What we evaluated was the increase in incidence of the number of cases in some regions, which caused the return of some regions of the waves they were in. But this is the reason why we think there is a new wave in the state ”, he evaluated.
Carlos Amaral also recalled the importance of the population maintaining care to prevent the transmission of the disease. “It is essential that miners participate in control actions, with the use of masks, alcohol gel and social distance,” he concluded.
Green Wave
The Tringulo do Norte, Tringulo do Sul, Sul, Oeste, Centro, Noroeste, Norte, Jequitinhonha and Centro-Sul regions remained in the green wave * of Minas Consciente. This phase allows opening non-essential services with a high risk of contagion. Only them:
- Artistic activities, such as theater, music and dance and circus production;
- Cinemas, libraries, museums, archives;
- Parks, zoos and gardens;
- Fairs, congresses, exhibitions, filming of parties, party houses, buffets;
- Diverse parks, discos, nightclubs, sinuca;
- Bars with entertainment (shows and shows);
- Tattoo piercing and placement services.
Yellow wave
The East, South and Southeast regions join the Vale do Ao in the yellow wave, a phase in which the opening of non-essential services is allowed, such as:
- Bars (non-local consumption);
- Driving schools and driving courses;
- Sales of beauty and aesthetic activities;
- Trade in home appliances and audio and video equipment;
- Stationery, bookstores, records and magazines;
- Clothing, jewelery, jewelry, shoe and travel goods stores;
- Trade in bed, bath and table items;
- Furniture and chandelier stores;
- Immobilities;
- Department stores and duty free;
- Toy stores;
- Academies (with restrictions);
- Travel agency;
- Clubs.
Red wave
The Northeast and East regions have already passed to the red wave, the most restrictive in Minas Consciente, where only services considered essential are allowed, such as:
- Supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores;
- Bars (only for delivery or collection at the counter);
- Aougues, fishmongers, fresh produce;
- Food sales services;
- Farms, pharmacies, cosmetic stores, laundries, pet shop;
- Banks, lottery houses, credit unions;
- Surveillance and private security;
- Repair and maintenance services;
- Computer and communication device stores;
- Hotels, motis, campsites, accommodation and pensions;
- Civil construction and infrastructure works;
- Trade in vehicles, automobiles and automotive accessories.
