Two other suspects of participating in the assault on a bank branch in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, were arrested on Thursday (3), in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo. The information is from G1.
According to the police, the couple is suspected of having participated in the logistics of the robbery in Criciúma on Tuesday (1st). They were transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (Deic) in São Paulo.
In the department of Sheila, 36, and Eduardo, 41, the police found ammunition. The police came to them because one of the cars used in the Criciúma raid was filled with their credit card.
The vehicle was in the garage of his apartment for two days before heading to Santa Catarina. Sheila’s brother Diego, who fueled up and brought the car to Criciúma, is on the run. In his car, the police found ammunition for rifles and explosives. Diego and Sheila’s father filed a complaint with the São Paulo police and was released.
According to the Military Police, Sheila said she knew of her brother Diego’s participation in the attack in Criciúma. His partner, Eduardo, told the prime minister that his brother was involved in the robbery of ATMs and confessed that he knew the vehicle would be taken to the south of the country.
Now, in total, the number of suspects arrested for participating in the crime in Criciúma exceeds 11.
