The occupancy rate in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) of 20 hospitals in Ceará reached 80%. In addition to that, 17 others reached 70% of the nursing beds occupied. The information was obtained at 9:28 pm this Saturday, on the IntegraSUS platform, of the Department of Health of Ceará (Sesa), and collects data on beds from the public and private network.

In total, 79 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours, while 450 patients were discharged.

At the time of consulting the website, the most critical situation in the occupation of beds was that of the Hospital Regional Norte, in Sobral, which had a waiting list with seven patients for admission to the infirmary and occupation in the ICU of 88.89% .

In Fortaleza, the wards and ICUs of the Hospital e Maternidade Gastroclínica, the Gonzaga Mota José Walter District Hospital, the Dr. Waldemar Alcântara General Hospital and the Uniclinic Hospital are 100% occupied at the time of consulting the website.

Units with fully occupied ICU beds are the Albert Sabin Children’s Hospital, the São José Hospital for Infectious Diseases, the São Carlos Hospital and the Walter Cantídio University Hospital.
