The Epidemiological Surveillance of São Carlos reports on Sunday (04/26) the epidemiological situation of the municipality for the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
It rose to 25 positive cases for the disease, with 2 confirmed deaths and 2 other suspected cases under investigation. Today 3 positive results for COVID-19 were published. The 3 confirmed positive people for the new coronavirus are isolated at home.
401 suspected cases for the new coronavirus have already been ruled out, as 172 more negative results for the disease have been published.
Currently there are 15 people hospitalized, 8 adults (ward), 2 children (ward) and 5 adults in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). In the pediatric ICU, we currently have no hospitalized children.
NOTIFICATIONS: 1,647 people have been through the city’s Flu Syndrome notification system since March 21, with 1,379 people completing the 14-day isolation period and 268 still isolated. These people no longer take an exam for COVID-19 (protocol established by the Ministry of Health).
The daily bulletin issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance of São Carlos explains the notifications from the health units of the City Council, the University Hospital (HU), Santa Casa, the private network and the health plans.
