Coronavirus in ES: Santa Teresa enters the list of high risk cities

The municipality of Santa Teresa, in the Serrana do Espírito Santo region, was included in the group of cities with a high risk of contamination by the new coronavirus, according to the Risk Management Map of the Espírito Santo Government. The announcement was made by Governor Renato Casagrande (PSB), at a press conference on Friday night (8).

The city is expected to take further qualified measures in the fight against the coronavirus starting next Monday (11). Among the new measures is the operation of the trade on alternate days. Before, commerce could operate without restrictions in the municipality.

The Risk Management Map is reviewed weekly with updated data from the Ministry of Health (Sesa).

CORONAVIRUSES IN SANTA TERESA

According to the latest epidemiological bulletin, published by the Municipal Health Secretariat, this Friday afternoon (8), Santa Teresa has 42 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus. Of these, nine patients are considered cured of the disease, two are hospitalized and one death has been recorded. The other contaminated ones are isolated at home.
