The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro intercepted a hotel in Ipanema, in the South Zone of Rio, after the death of a young man on Saturday (27). At the scene, according to the police, a party was held without authorization from the city council.

Also according to the police, Guilherme Lara de Barros Brito, 21, was at a birthday party in the pool area of ​​the L’Homme de Rio Boutique Hotel when he fell from a height of 15 meters.

Guilherme fell outside the hotel, onto a cliff with bushes. The boy was rescued by the Fire Department, treated in a hospital, but could not resist his injuries and died on Sunday (28).

An investigation was carried out at the hotel and the images of the internal circuit were requested for analysis by the Police in an attempt to clarify the case.

The delegate Felipe Santoro, of the 13 DP (Ipanema) intercepted the place to carry out the forensic examination and kept the hotel closed due to non-compliance with the state and municipal decrees that impose restrictions to face the pandemic, such as the prohibition of parties during this period. .

“In addition to the circumstances of death, the police determine the responsibility of those involved and of the participants in the hotel, who can be charged with the crime of violation of a preventive health measure, provided for in article 268 of the Code,” he said. the delegate Felipe Santoro, from the 13th DP (Ipanema).
