CDC Adds Six New Items to List of Possible Coronavirus Symptoms – Crescer Magazine

The CDC (Center for Disease Control), United States, this week increased the official list of possible symptoms of coronavirus. Before, the health regulator only considered three symptoms: fever, cough and shortness of breath. Now, the agency has updated the list and has also included items like chills and muscle pain, for example.

Following is the complete list considered by CDC:

– fever

Cough

– Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

– shaking chills

– Repeated tremors with chills

– Muscle pain

– Headache

– Sore throat

– Loss of smell or taste.

According to infectious disease specialist Lívio Dias of Maternidade Pro Matre Paulista (SP), the symptoms caused by respiratory viruses are generally similar. Here is a table with the main differences between coronavirus, flu and cold.
