This week marks the end of the cash transfer program that served 67.9 million Brazilians and spent R $ 292.9 billion to help vulnerable people affected by the covid-19 pandemic.
Tomorrow (28), Caixa will pay a residual of R $ 248 million to 196 thousand people who had the benefit released by the Ministry of Citizenship after the conflicts.
The money had been deposited in the digital savings account on December 12 for the beneficiaries of cycle 5 and on December 29 for the beneficiaries of cycle 6. Until now, the funds could only be used through the Caixa Tem application, that allows the payment of receipts (water, electricity and telephone bills), purchases with the virtual debit card through the Internet and purchases in associated establishments using QR code machines (advanced version of the barcode).
To withdraw in cash it is necessary to perform log in at Caixa Tem, select the option “withdraw without a card” and “generate withdrawal code”. Then, the worker must enter the password to see the withdrawal code on the cell phone screen, valid for one hour. The code must be used at Caixa ATMs, lottery units or at the corresponding Caixa Aqui.
Cash withdrawals can be made at lottery stores, Caixa Aqui correspondents or at branches.
