Bishop Daniel Malafaia, of the Assembly of Deus Madureira, died this Saturday (12), due to complications from Covid-19. Pastor’s cousin Silas Malafaia, was hospitalized in serious condition in Rio.
The death was denounced by the National Convention of the Assemblies of God Madureira (Conamad) by Daniel Malafaia, the pastor’s son, on social networks.
“With regret, we report the death of beloved Bishop Daniel Malafaia. May the Holy Spirit comfort and comfort your family, especially Bishop Gemima. We know and believe that ‘The sight of the Lord is precious for the death of his saints.’ Psalm 116: 15. So it pleased the Lord to gather his servant for himself, ”the note reads.
On his Instagram profile, Pastor Silas Malafaia posted a death note that reads: “Our dear Bishop Daniel Fonseca Malafaia rests in peace. He left with you for eternity ”. The same note calls the faithful to a funeral to be held at the Assembly of God in Campo Grade this Sunday (13) morning.
In the note, no precautions are mentioned to avoid contagion with the new coronavirus, such as the use of masks, alcohol gel or minimum distance.
