Isadora Alkimin Vieira, 21, singer’s daughter Belo, was released on Monday (7), after almost a month arrested for joining a gang that applied electronic scams. The information is from the newspaper Extra.
The decision of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro revoked the preventive detention of Isadora and six of the 11 women imprisoned with her for being part of a gang linked to the largest criminal faction in Rio, which earned between R $ 600,000 and R $ 1. million a month.
The other five members of the group had received, at the custody hearing, house arrest permission for being mothers of children up to 12 years old.
With the release, the group must take precautionary measures such as reporting and justifying its activities every month, being prohibited from contacting and approaching the victims, as well as having to stay indoors at night and on days off.
“The essential requirement of precautionary custody, which is compatible with the dangerousness of the state of freedom, and which could continue to support the preventive custody of the accused, is not enough, as is the case, the gravity of the crime in the abstract, if it is not related with no concrete situation related to the crime ”, says the decision of the TJRJ.
Remember the case
Arrested on November 11, Isadora is accused of being part of a group of scammers who mainly beat older people. In addition to her, 11 other women were arrested and detained with Belo’s daughter in an apartment in Jacarepaguá, in the West Zone of Rio.
According to investigations by the DCOD (Anti-Drug Police), responsible for the arrest, the gang’s clandestine telemarketing center operated in the apartment. Isadora and other women are accused of contacting the victims to steal their bank details and even access credit cards.
Also according to the complaint, it was evidenced that one of the women, Roselaine Oliveira Almeida, coordinated other members of the group, who made telephone contacts with the victims.
