Cristiano drank about 30 bottles of Belorizontina during the month of December. On November 30, he had already consumed seven at a party at a friend’s house and was ill. After that, he drank about one a night the following month. On December 21, he consumed approximately five bottles and did not feel well for the next several days. The day before Christmas he was admitted to the Biocor Hospital.
Hemodialysis only started on vacation. Four days later, the family drama increased, when Cristiano entered the CTI, where he remained for 44 days. The neurological symptoms began on January 1.
