According to the bulletin, Covid-19 confirmed eight deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,000.
The Covid-19 Daily Bulletin of the Amazonas Health Surveillance Foundation (FVS-AM), edition No. 177, released this Friday (09/25), confirms the registration of 916 new cases of Covid-19, totaling 135,205 disease cases in the state.
Of the total of new confirmed cases of the disease in Amazonas, 112 were detected by RT-PCR, which points to new cases that are between the 3rd and 6th day of the disease, and 804 by rapid tests, which identify the antibodies , with a date of onset of symptoms between at least 8 and 60 days or more from the first manifestations of Covid-19. Of the total of cases detected by RT-PCR, 38 are in the capital and 74 in the interior.
According to the bulletin, eight deaths were confirmed by Covid-19, five of which occurred in the last 24 hours and three deaths were canceled by laboratory criteria, increasing the total number of deaths to 4,000. In the capital, according to data from the Manaus City Council, this Thursday (09/24) there were 33 burials and five deaths at home. The bulletin also adds that 16,412 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are being followed, which corresponds to 12.14% of confirmed active cases.
Hospitalizations – Among the confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Amazonas, there are 334 hospitalized patients, 219 in clinical beds (86 in the private network and 133 in the public network), 111 in the ICU (52 in the private network and 59 in the public network) and four in a red room, a structure intended for temporary assistance to stabilize critical / severe patients for subsequent referral to other points of the healthcare network.
There are also 44 other hospitalized patients considered suspicious and awaiting confirmation of the diagnosis. Of these, 22 are in clinical beds (14 in the private network and 8 in the public network), 20 in the ICU (14 in the private network and six in the public network) and two in the red room.
Notification – The consolidation of the cases notified in Amazonas is carried out by FVS-AM based on the information obtained from three systems: e-SUS Notifica, the Influenza Epidemiological Surveillance Information System (Sivep-Flu) and the Laboratory Environment Manager (GAL), at 10 am every day. In Manaus, 148,922 cases were reported, while in the interior of the state the figure reaches 185,504.
The notifications are made by the epidemiological surveillance of the municipalities, through the health information system, and passed to the FVS-AM, which consolidates the data. Reported cases are confirmed or ruled out, in the future, by laboratory or rapid tests.
In this edition, nine municipalities have not updated the information system for the consolidation of the bulletin data. They are: Apuí, Alvarães, Beruri, Coari, Itacoatiara, Juruá, Jutaí, Santa Isabel do Rio Negro and Tonantins.
Municipalities – Of the 135,205 confirmed cases in the Amazon as of this Friday (09/25), 49,237 are from Manaus (36.42%) and 85,968 from the interior of the state (63.58%).

Deaths: Among patients in Manaus, there is a record of 2,487 confirmed deaths due to the new coronavirus. In the interior, there are 60 municipalities with confirmed deaths so far, for a total of 1,513. The only Amazonian city without a death registry from the disease is Canutama.
