The confirmed cases of coronavirus, which had been decreasing for three consecutive weeks in Mogi das Cruzes, have risen again in recent days, according to data provided by the City Council.
According to statistics, about a month ago, in the week of October 12 to 18, they were counted 412 cases; Between October 19 and 25, this average dropped to 244 cases; Between October 26 and November 1, the number dropped to 171 cases; and between November 2 and 8 for 162 cases. However, in the last week counted, between November 9 and 15, they confirmed 361 new cases. See the table below.
Regarding the previous graph, the municipal administration indicates that on July 3 a laboratory was identified that launched, in a single day, the launch of 250 positive cases of Mogianos, referring to collections carried out between May 16 and 27. June. Then, on August 13, the Municipal Health Secretariat received 406 new cases initiated by the official system of the State Government in relation to records dammed since April. Finally, in the first week of September, the Municipal Health Secretariat received 305 new cases launched by the official system of the State Government in relation to records of dams since July.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 10,292 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Mogi das Cruzes. Of these, 9,019 recovered, 820 are still in treatment and 453 died. Another 3,240 are still waiting for test results to see if they have coronavirus.
Also according to the data published by the City Council, the number of deaths from the disease also increased in the last week. Between November 9 and 15, 14 new deaths in Mogi das Cruzes. The municipal administration indicates that, of the 453 fatalities to date in Mogi das Cruzes, 262 were men and 191 women. The age group with the highest number of deaths is that of 70 to 79 years, with 135; followed by 60 to 69 years, with 113.
Regarding the occupancy of beds, data from the City Council indicate that to date 37 of the 56 ICU beds in the city are occupied, that is, 66%. Of the 103 nursing beds, 67 are occupied, which corresponds to 65%.
