According to one of the city officials, the couple refused to show the Sustainable Tourism Tax document, which is mandatory to enter the Villa. Tourists also reportedly tried to enter the place with a private car, which is prohibited.
In a note to the Diário do Nordeste, the Jijoca de Jericoacoara City Council reported that the visitor, notably upset, disrespected the officials who worked for the municipal government. As a result, the police took her to the police station. The offended employee registered a Circumstantial Term of Occurrence (TCO) against the couple.
