Last Saturday (30), an 11-year-old boy was rescued by the Military Police of Campinas. The victim was held by a couple in a private prison in a barrel, bound and topped with a piece of marble.
An anonymous tip directed police to the scene, a shack in Jardim Itatiaia, on the outskirts of the city. According to Second Sergeant Mike Jason, who is following the incident, the situation in which the boy was found was “heartbreaking.”
“He told me he was eating feces because they didn’t feed him,” Mike said.
According to the authorities, the girl is not the biological daughter of the couple.
“The man said that a woman, a drug addict and with whom he had a relationship, claimed that the child was his. This user abandoned the child with him and his current partner, ”Jason explained.
The victim was transferred to the Ouro Verde Hospital, also in Campinas, with extreme dehydration. UOL, a source who was in the health unit when the case was presented, reported that the boy told the nursing staff that the treatments were even worse.
“He told me that the man poured bleach and cold water on him to bathe him,” said the member of the nursing team.
The aunt of the victim arrived at the hospital and, according to the source heard by the report, stated that the boy had a psychiatric problem and that “it was a lot of work.”
The young man was fed and awaiting the results of the tests. Unloading will only occur when you are at an ideal weight. The case was registered at the 2nd Campinas Women’s Police Station.
