Six people were shot to on Tuesday night (12), around Gentilândia Square, in the Benfica neighborhood. The information is that the victims were in a bar when they were shot.
Military police officers who attended the incident said that three victims are women and three men. Four were rescued in ambulances from Samu to the Doutor José Frota Institute (IJF), and the rest were transferred by their own means.

There is still no information on the health status of each of the victims. Two armed suspects were seen at the scene. They reportedly arrived at the bar and fired several shots.
Gun capsules were found at the scene. The Military Police are in the process of capturing those involved in the action.
At 9:40 pm the report received information from the PM who a suspect was caught. The man was found on Rua Padre Francisco Pinto, near Praça da Gentilândia, inside a residential condominium. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, is a water dealer. The searches continue.

Almost three years ago, three of the seven people killed in the Benfica massacre were executed in the same square. In addition to the place, other victims were attacked in Vila Demétrio and at the intersections of Rua Joaquim Magalhães and Major Facundo, in the same neighborhood. Three men were convicted of the crime, primarily motivated by revenge and the feud of criminal factions.
