Despite the lesson she said she learned from the cancer experience, Fatima was kind when she commented on her return to work with less than 1 month of surgery. He discovered the tumor on December 2, after routine gynecological exams.
The 58-year-old journalist said that she removed the points of the procedure on Christmas Eve, also praising the follow-up with the gynecologist and oncologist, with whom she will have to do preventive evaluations once a quarter.
Until now, Fatima will not have to undergo chemotherapy or radiotherapy and her only medical restrictions are vigorous physical exercises.
“I worry a lot about myself, but I was also very lucky to have the watchful eye of my doctor, because I had no symptoms other than the slight thickening of the endometrium. It is worth investing and fighting to stay alive”, evaluated the presenter after see reports from other cancer survivors.
She was also delighted to talk about the care she received from the family and said that telling her loved ones about the diagnosis was one of the most difficult moments of her recovery journey.
