Doctor, the new mayor of Itapajé, Dr. Gorete (PSD), left the opening ceremony this Friday (1st), to go to the Municipal Hospital of the city, to investigate the situation of two injured in a collision with a loaded stork truck, which occurred this morning at Km 128 of the BR- 222, in Itapajé.
The Hospital was left without doctors on duty, and the scale that should define the professionals and their respective shifts was not made until the 15th. This, according to the new mayor, goes against the recommendation of the Regional Council.
Dr. Gorete stressed that the scale of health professionals was the responsibility of the old management. For her, her victory was a city protest shout, against various measures of the farewell management. It was the people who called the doctor at the hospital.
Until Friday night, the doctor continued to see other patients in the unit.
