Driver tries to run over his ex-girlfriend and invades their house (Credit: Playback)
In an attempt to run over his ex-girlfriend with a minibus, a 54-year-old man ended up causing a series of accidents in Congonhas, Minas Gerais. The incident occurred last Monday (21) and caused outrage in the residents of the Matriz neighborhood.
A video was posted on social media that recorded the moment the driver did actual damage on the street before crashing into the victim’s home, knocking down the wall (see video below).
Not satisfied with the damage, the driver went back up the street and threw the vehicle at the residence where the woman was located. In addition to the damage to the home, the man collided with two other cars that were parked on the street, a motorcycle and a pole, according to the police report.
Despite the confusion, no residents were injured. The electricity supply was partially interrupted due to damage to the network and some houses were left without a fixed telephone due to the accident.
To the police, the victim explained that she was already suffering threats from her ex-partner after the relationship ended.
The 51-year-old woman said she went to her daughter’s home when the suspect set her home on fire. With that, the attacker approached the victim to try to kill his beaten girlfriend.
Police found a blade in the vehicle next to the seat belt, which struck the driver during the impact. In the raid, the suspect had minor injuries, then he was rescued by Samu and sent to the hospital.
According to the police, the suspect will be transferred to the police station after being discharged from the hospital and could be charged with the crimes of dangerous driving, qualified damage and attempted murder.
