THE GAME BEGINS BALANCED AND SÃO PAULO SCARS
With well-defined proposals, São Paulo and Atlético-MG started the game in a very balanced way. Both teams pressed the ball, causing dangerous movements. At four minutes, Daniel Alves dominated and fired from outside the area. The ball was deflected, but Everson, well placed, made the save.

The Tricolor continued on top of the Rooster, who found it difficult to create the movements. With intense movement, Fernando Diniz’s men also took risks from outside the area. At nine minutes, Dani Alves struck again and the ball passed the goal line with danger.

GALO CREATES, BUT TRICOLOR OPENS THE SCORE WITH A BEAUTIFUL GOAL
After the first chances created by São Paulo, the game died down and Atlético-MG managed to reach the goal of Tiago Volpi. At 15 minutes, Allan threw the bomb with his left foot and the ball went close, to the left of the São-Paulino goal. With a good exchange of passes, Galo managed to retain the ball more, but it did not scare him much.

Tricolor took advantage and returned to take the reins of the party. At 18 minutes, Brenner invaded the area and hit hard with his left foot, but Everson saved. On the rebound, Reinaldo kicked. After so much insistence, São Paulo reached the goal in the 24th minute. Tchê Tchê went ahead and played for Igor Gomes, who cleared the play and threw a bomb from outside the area to open the scoring.

THE OBJECTIVES STAND OUT AT THE END OF THE FIRST STAGE
After conceding the goal, Jorge Sampaoli’s team woke up and began to be in danger. At 27, Savarino took the ball after a tackle by Bruno Alves and hit for the good defense of Volpi. Three minutes later, it was Keno’s turn to make a good play and hit from outside the area, for another good intervention by the São-Paulino goalkeeper.

In the last play of the first stage, at 43 minutes, Daniel Alves hit a foul precisely, over the barrier. Everson flew up and crashed into a corner, avoiding Tricolor’s second goal before the break.

ATLÉTICO-MG BEGINS THE SECOND PRESSING STEP
Losing the match, Atlético-MG arrived with changes. Franco came in for Igor Rabello, trying to add more offensive volume to the team. After two minutes, Calebe hit hard for Volpi to defend himself in two hits. Shortly after, at 11, Guga was in danger with a poisonous center that almost got inside the Pauline goal.

After the chances created by the Minas Gerais club, the match calmed the submissions. With heavy rain, the teams ran fewer times and, with a lot of compaction, they did not give space in the offensive sectors.

THE COCK IS WITH ONE LESS AND SÃO PAULO ALMOST GETS THE SECOND
With so much marking in the midfield, the game had many fouls and yellow cards, becoming more and more ‘perforated’. After 20 minutes, Allan and Tchê Tchê were surprised, starting a confusion among the players. The match earned the players a yellow card. Nine minutes later, the Atlético-MG midfielder gave a pass to Dani Alves and was sent off.

In that same play of the expulsion of Allan, almost São Paulo scored the second and it would be a great goal. Luan tried the shot from midfield and the ball passed over Everson’s goal, scaring the Atlético goalkeeper. Soon after, at age 32, Brenner hit the ball hard and blew paint off the crossbar.

GABRIEL SARA Y TORÓ SCORE AND GOAL TRICOLOR
In the box, Atlético-MG could not go out in exchange for passes, which facilitated the theft of the Pauline ball. As a result, Fernando Diniz’s men exchanged more passes and threatened Everson’s goal. In one of those passes came the second goal.

At 37 minutes, Vitor Bueno received from Igor Gomes, he was the back line and center from the left for Gabriel Sara to complete for the goal, expanding the score for São Paulo. And it fit even more. At 45, Toró moved to the middle and hit hard to complete the win.
