After a slight drop in the figures registered on Thursday (10), Belo Horizonte has all the indicators of the Covid-19 pandemic at the yellow level, alert, this Friday (11).
Occupancy rates in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and wards are the most advanced in December, reaching 56.7% and 52.4%, respectively, in the most recent epidemiological report.
The transmissibility of the coronavirus fluctuated downward, still at the alert level, going from RT 1.04 to RT 1.02 in the last 24 hours. On this farm, the occupancy rates were 56.9% in the ICUs and 49.6% in the wards.
The pressure on beds is even greater in the private health system, where 70.4% of ICUs are occupied. In the Unified Health System (SUS), the percentage is 61%.
According to the Belo Horizonte City Council (PBH), there are 57,330 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the city and 1,736 deaths. Between Thursday and Friday, 13 new deaths and 382 infections were registered.
