Accused of killing his mother-in-law and ex-wife, he forced the victim’s son to simulate aggression

The man accused of murdering Maria Madalena Cordeiro Neto, 60, and Giane Cristina Alexandre, 36, mother-in-law and ex-partner, respectively, forced the victim’s 6-year-old son to simulate an attack to evade the police. Mother and daughter were found dead by the Federal District Military Police (PMDF), around 6 am this Thursday (10/12), in the Arapoanga sector, in Planaltina. The crime is identified as double femicide by the 31st Police Station.

According to the chief delegate of the 31 DP, Veluziano de Castro, the man, identified as Josimar Benedito Paiva, planned the crime as if it were a robbery. The couple had a three-year relationship, but separated in September. Unhappy with the breakup, the defendant went to his mother-in-law’s house on Wednesday night (9/12) to attempt a supposed return with Giane. Sneakily, he saw her leave the house to take her son to the health clinic and took the opportunity to enter the property. “The two were no longer in contact, because the victim had blocked him from all media. He knocks on the gate and his mother-in-law resists, prohibiting entry, ”he explained.

At that moment, the man pushes Maria towards the house and she falls to the ground. The defendant then takes a rope from the clothesline and ties up the victim, placing an adhesive tape over his mouth. Soon after, Giane arrives at the residence with her son. “He covers his head with a T-shirt so his ex-wife can understand it was a robbery. Then, he also ties her up and tries to ‘sensitize’ her that the return of the couple would be the best option, and he goes out to take photos of the two, in an attempt to move her, ”said the deputy.

Night of terror

Tied up, Giane had her head covered with a pillowcase. In testimony, the defendant alleged that when he returned with the photos, he found his ex-wife without vital signs. In a desperate attitude, Josimar puts a blindfold on the boy and forces him to stay in the car, because otherwise, “he would cut his mother to pieces.” “Go back and kill the strangled mother-in-law. Then he returned in the vehicle and gave the boy his mother’s cell phone, telling him that when the alarm sounded at 5 in the morning it was to ask for help, “said the investigator.

The boy stayed from 6 pm on Wednesday to 5 am on Thursday, blindfolded, inside the car, under the threatening tone. When the alarm sounded, the boy took to the streets asking for help, including friends of the accused. The PMDF arrived at the site around 6 am.

Abusive relationship

Josimar was taken to the police station to be heard. During questioning, he claimed that he met Giane 20 years ago, when he “fell madly in love.” After the separation, the man even added several friends of the victim on social networks to find out the whereabouts of the ex-partner and find out if he was dating.

“He had a sense of ownership. In September, he even set his house on fire. The police were called, but no police report was recorded. For this reason, we leave here an appeal so that, when there is violence against women, it is denounced. In this way, we can avoid barbaric crimes like this one ”, the delegate guides.
