It should be remembered that Luiz jumped off the bus before falling off the BR-384 overpass in João Monlevade, in Minas Gerais. After the accident, the driver fled and has not been located since. Despite the disappearance, the corporation did not issue an arrest warrant.
In addition to Luiz, a representative of the Localima company, owner of the crashed bus, also came to the police station to testify before the police.
Of the 19 victims of the accident, 14 were already transferred this Monday to the Northeast region of the country. The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) also moved the bodies of the families of the dead. Five other bodies were taken to São Paulo, one of which was transported by the family itself.
