A civilian police officer killed a colleague from the corporation at point-blank range with a gunshot to the head. The crime occurred on Friday () after both were involved in a car accident on the João Baptista Cabral Rennó highway, in the Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo region, in the interior of São Paulo.
As revealed by the civil police, the civil policemen Renato Bianchi and Ronaldo Cordeiro were traveling in a car without characteristics from the city of Presidente Prudente to São Paulo. Around km 305 of the highway, however, his car collided with the back of a trailer.
Also according to the police, Bianchi, who was driving the vehicle, had more serious injuries, and Cordeiro, who was in the passenger seat.

The rescue was called and the first assistance was given to the police in the ambulance. Inside the vehicle, the couple began to argue and Cordeiro drew his gun and shot Bianchi. Subsequently, the policeman pointed the gun at his head, but a doctor prevented him from shooting.
Taken to the Santa Casa de Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo, Cordeiro was arrested in flagrante delicto and must be framed in the crime of homicide. Bianchi could not resist the injury and died.
The Ministry of Public Security (SSP-SP) issued a statement and confirmed that the police officer who shot was arrested.
“The case is being investigated by the Internal Affairs Department of the Bauru Civil Police,” he revealed.
