One day after the bank robbery and a two-hour shooting in Criciúma (SC), a similar attack took place early on Wednesday morning (2), in the city of Cametá, in the north of Pará.

According to reports on social media, at least one person was shot and killed. The victim would be an açaí seller in the city.
Through social networks, Governor Helder Barbalho (MDB) said that he was already in contact with the state public security summit, following the measures that are being taken.
The Public Security Secretariat of the State of Pará (Segup) reported that, since the robbery of a bank branch in the city was confirmed, teams from the Police Special Operations Battalion (BOPE), from the Metropolitan Tactical Ostensive Rounds (Rotam) , from the Canine Action Battalion (Bac), the Special Operations and Resources Coordination (Core) and two aircraft from the Pará Public Security Air Group (Graesp) moved to provide support to the municipality, which is located about 235 km from distance from the capital Belém.
The mayor of Cametá, Waldoli Valente (PSC), confirmed in his social networks that tactical forces of the Military Police are already in the city. It also confirmed the death of at least one person.
