Inspectors of Urban and Environmental Control of the City of Belo Horizonte had a lot of work again on Saturday night and early this Sunday (29), with no less than 10 bars and parties prohibiting municipal decrees. The evaluations were carried out in the districts of Lourdes, Caiara, Calafate, Guarani, Planalto, Santa Terezinha and Unio. Four of the premises were closed for events, that is, parties. In total, from Friday to Sunday morning, there were 18 interdictions and evaluations.

According to sources from the Ministry of Inspection (Sufis), only one fine was issued to a bar located in Pampulha for non-compliance with the interim. The fine was R $ 17,614.17.

The Sufis stepped up inspection and increased flight teams, made up of inspectors, field officers and municipal guards, to assess establishments that do not comply with the sanitary protocols determined by the PBH. In addition, the teams monitor the clandestine parties scheduled on social media.

Social networks have become a great ally of PBH, since they are being monitored, to detect parties that violate the guidelines established to stop the coronavirus.

The municipal health minister, Jackson Machado, points out the incidence of events of this type, especially in classes with high purchasing power. “They kicked the tent pole and classes A and B are more affected. Clandestine parties are happening. There is no doubt that these agglomerations increase the cases. it’s just that these people are having fun. “

Both the health chief, when Mayor Alexandre Kalil ruled out linking the increase in statistics with an eventual second wave of Covid.

The measure that shows the hardening of the PBH with the breach of the security regulations for Combat Covid-19 follows the alerts of the mayor, re-elected in the first 63.36% of the votes. Kalil also warned against breaking the rules and inattention that could cause the virus to spread further.

“The situation is very serious. Too bad I have to come back here. If they are not taken care of, we will close the city ”, said the mayor, who warned. “We have the authority, according to the Military Police, to detain irresponsible people, in addition to closing the establishments. No more notifications, ‘notes’ and ‘fines’. We will seal establishments. We are warning the rioters that they will be arrested. “

PM support

The work has the collaboration of the Military Police, which in turn, has been acting to stop funk dances in groups. On Friday, for example, police from the 22nd BPM went to three points in the favelas of BH, where this type of party was held. The disturbance of order, the lack of respect for the Law of Silence, which takes effect after 10 pm, is also the reason for this inspection.

According to the Sufis, seven of the forbidden places are Bailo Saramenha (Avenida Saramenha, 1,150, Guaraní), Resenha’s Bar (Rua Osrio Duque Estrada, 10, Planalto), Spetim do Tampnha (Rua Alberto Cintra, 271, Unio), Os Desespetados ( Rua Platina, 1492, Calafate), bar at Rua Platina, 1492, Calafate, Boizeca (Avenida Presidente Carlos Luz, 172, Caiara) and Cia do Boi (Rua Curitiba, 2,069, Lourdes). The reports of the other three intercepted sites had not yet been sent to the sector, until the closing of this matter.
