Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the Electoral Court drew up a health security plan with several recommendations to voters on the procedures to adopt during the voting, which takes place on Sunday (15) from 7 am to 5 pm
This year, the essential elements to vote are an official document with a photo and mask, whose use will be mandatory at all times in the polling stations.
The Electoral Court also recommends that, if possible, the voter bring their own pen to sign the voting book, in order to avoid sharing objects and spreading the new coronavirus.
As in previous years, the voter who has already carried out the biometric registration can, if he prefers, use the e-Title application to identify himself, he only needs to show the cell phone screen to the voting table. The digital tool does not require voters to carry any paper documents.
The voter can also take the famous glue when voting, with the number of their candidates. It is worth remembering, however, that you are not allowed to bring your cell phone inside the voting booth. So, if it is really necessary, it is best to carry the glue on paper.
Cameras, video cameras, radio communication equipment or any instrument that could compromise the secrecy of the vote are also prohibited inside the booth. These devices must be kept at the voting table while the voter votes.
The Electoral Tribunal is expected to provide alcohol gel to voters. The forecast is that there will also be 70% alcohol available for cleaning surfaces.
The organizers of the elections do not encourage the use of gloves, either by election officials or voters, arguing that the article discourages frequent hand hygiene and may even become a vector of transmission of COVID-19. 19 in case of improper disposal.

Voter Instructions
– If you have a fever, do not leave the house.
– When transporting to the polling place, keep a distance of at least one meter from other people in the lines and avoid getting into crowded vehicles.
– Maintain a distance of at least one meter from other people within the polling places. Avoid physical contact with other people, such as hugs and handshakes.
– Respect the distance marking on the lines and in the polling stations (marked with stickers on the floors).
– If possible, go alone to the polling station. Avoid bringing children and companions.
– Stay at the polling places long enough to vote.
– Wear a mask from the moment you leave home until you return.
– In polling stations it is not allowed to eat, drink or perform any other activity that requires removing the mask.
-If possible, bring your own pen to sign the voting book.
– Show your official document with a photo, stretching your arms towards the table. The secretary will verify the identification data remotely.
– If there is any doubt in the identification, the counselor may ask you to take two steps back and briefly lower the mask.
– Wash your hands with alcohol gel before and after voting.
