A Federal Highway Police continues with the expectation of opening a new competition public (PRF contest). The corporation is currently working on the calendar of events. The expectation is that the institution will be able to publish the announcement in 2020. However, even if this is not possible, testing can still occur in the first half of 2021.
The information was confirmed by the executive director of the PRF, José Lopes Hott, through social networks. Responding to a question from a follower on Instagram, the director joked that the first semester runs through June and there is still a chance that the race will take place in the first half of the year.
Initially, the PRF said it expected evidence in April 2021, but when the guarantee was expected to be published in October. With the authorization delay, it was speculated whether this schedule could delay testing for the second half of next year.
According to Hott, if the notice is published in February, the tests may continue to apply until June. The director recalled that the estimated term is four months. But, of course, all these estimates will depend on the authorization.
Regarding the authorization, Hott comments that the PRF is still pending and that the planned schedule will be re-evaluated by the corporation after the guarantee is confirmed.

The PRF 2021 contest
The salaries offered by the PRF reach R $ 10,357.88 for higher education and R $ 4,022.77 for secondary education.

The third-class police officer has the mission of carrying out police activities that involve inspection, patrolling and ostensive surveillance, assistance and assistance to victims of road accidents and other functions related to the operational area of the Federal Highway Police, while The second class will have to carry out activities of a police nature that imply the execution and administrative and operational control of the activities inherent to the position, in addition to Third Class functions.

The information released by the Federal Highway Police, at that time, showed that the number of employees in November 2018 was 10,029 employees, when the ideal would be 18,424 in the corporation. The total shortage was 8,395 professionals, with vacancies derived from retirements, deaths, layoffs, transfers, among other reasons.

The last public PRF contest was launched in November 2018. On the occasion, Cebraspe (formerly Cespe / UnB) organized the event. The offer was 500 immediate vacancies, all for the Federal Highway Police.
The event had a total of more than 129 thousand registered. The highest demand was Pará, with 12,700 applicants for 81 places, followed by Goiás with 12,605 applicants and Rio Grande do Sul, 11,559.
The objective and trial tests were applied on February 3, in the different Federal Units that offer vacancies.
The participants answered 120 questions, distributed in three blocks.
