Accused of supporting the rape of her adopted daughter, a woman who had been a fugitive for two years was arrested on Tuesday (10) in Bertópolis, Minas Gerais.
According to the delegate of the Minas Gerais Civil Police, Marcos Patrick Sena, the abuses began when the victim was 12 years old, in 2013. The young woman’s adoptive father began to abuse her. Soon after, her biological son also began raping her, with the consent of the adoptive mother.
The harassment lasted for two years, until the girl turned 14 and married. After the girl moved out, her foster brother raped her again shortly after she gave birth to a girl, her partner’s daughter. The rapist waited for his brother-in-law to leave the house to take advantage of the young woman.
“In the last attempt, the victim refused to allow the brother to complete the act, a situation that motivated the author to rape his niece, who was then one month old. This situation motivated the victim to report the facts to the local authorities, who then began the investigations, ”Marcos said.
With the investigations, the police came to discover that, in an episode of abuse, the adoptive father had sexual relations with his wife and the teenager simultaneously.
The adoptive mother and father were sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for participating in the rape. The legitimate son of the couple was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison.
